Robert Gober

American sculptor Robert Gober shown in the Reading Prison exhibition.

His work is often related to domestic and familiar objects such as sinks, doors, and legs, with themes of nature, sexuality, religion, and politics. The sculptures are all handcrafted despite looking like the real thing.

I saw the jacket below at Reading Prison exhibition. I think it shows that the prisoners are now very separated from nature, but have such beautiful memories of it. The jacket acts as a separation.
